This piece explores the tension between movement and identity through a ritualistic composition.The figures are engaged in a synchronized dance, yet their faces are concealed, removing any direct emotional readability and distancing them from a clear human presence.The choreography is intentionally controlled but slightly exaggerated, pushing the anatomy toward an uncanny state. This creates a contrast between fluid, expressive motion and an underlying sense of unease.Light plays a central role in the composition. A single overhead source acts as both observer and symbolic presence, framing the figures within a contained, almost ceremonial space. The environment remains minimal and atmospheric to emphasize the bodies as the primary carriers of meaning.The goal of this work was to investigate how gesture can function as a non-verbal language, one that shifts from expression into invocation when identity is removed.
