Not every character begins with a story. Sometimes, the design comes first.A few sketches become a silhouette. The silhouette becomes a personality. The personality begins to shape a story.AVIMOR followed that path.Within a single day, one sketch led to another until both the creature and its world started to emerge.These are some of those first sketches.The colors we paint aren't the only colors we see.For this study, I explored how the same character changes under two lighting conditions:daylight and overcast.The goal wasn't to redesign the palette, but to observe how light affects value, saturation, temperature, and mood while the local colors remain the same.Swipe through to see the local color palette and compare both lighting scenarios.Light doesn't just illuminate color it transforms it.
